This huge collection focuses mainly on his political comics for maybe four decades, much of which was published in The Village Voice, and it remains for me fresh and relevant, even as i reveals itself to be perfect for its time. Worth skimming through. Feiffer has a reputation for both writing and spare, quick sketch art. Not a particularly great caricaturist, but often right on as political/cultural commentator. Taught a comics course at Dartmough until he was 80, in 2009, and is still working. He won a Pulitzer prize for cartoons in 1986.
